Inflatable speed boats return, 1.5 ton marijuana seized

1570 kg of high quality marijuana, with a value of 8 million EUR, were
seized by the police at the coastline between Frasano and Ostuni, in
Puglia.
The agents found a boat that was stuck in the coastline, a brand new vessel with two 250 hp motors. Apparently, the traffickers had traveled by night and stashed the drug with the intention to withdraw it later.
Besides 45 marijuana packages, police found a life jacket and food wastes. The police confirmed for Top Channel that it is very probable that the drug was brought from Albania, based on the place where it was found, the packages and the type of marijuana.
