Increased number of visitors from Kosovo during weekend

The Morina border checkpoint in Kukes had a high number of Kosovo citizens entering our country during this weekend.
Dozens of cars and vehicles entered Albania the first few hours of this morning to visit coastline areas and Tirana.
“We are going to Tirana, to our country. We are not foreigners”, a citizen says.
“We are planning to go to Saranda, but we will visit other cities on the way”, another one says.
1500 citizens on 400 vehicles have crossed the border of Albania. The Customs workers had five operating tolls.
Despite the strong winds and rain precipitations, no traffic problems were verified so far..
