Police has arrested the Head of the Commission and the Secretary of
Polling Station 1067, Bulqize, after the incident in Gjuras.
The police officer of this polling station has also been taken for questioning.
The Democratic Party accused the Socialist Movement for Integration of trying to steal two ballot boxes.
The Head of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Edi Paloka, declared that SMI militants in Gjuras have stolen the ballot box.
“The ballot box was being transported with the van, but the SMI militants took it in their SUV. They were stopped by the DP militants”.
The vice leader of the SMI, Ylli Manjani, declared that this is a very banal case and appealed the Democratic Party to not behave as a guerrila party.
