“It should have been a high-level dialogue, but Edi Rama turned it into a
low conversation”, said the Democratic Party to describe their version
of what happened in the meeting with Stefan Fule.

Arben Ristani explains for the media about what happened, but he didn’t quote that words used by him or what he claims that were used by Edi Rama.

“I was addressing the concerns of the opposition to Mr.Fule regarding the capturing of institutions and the severe situation of democracy in our country. While I was speaking, Rama attacked me behind my back, with a very indecent vocabulary. Ethics doesn’t allow me to repeat his banal explosion”, Ristani declared.

According to the Democratic Party, the incident is not a scandal, but the Prime Minister violates the code of ethics. He says that with these actions, the Prime Minister aims to devaluate the opposition of this country.

“Edi Rama showed that he sits to dialogue with the opposition just for show. His opinion for the DP is something else, what he murmured behind our back. His stance is not to take the opposition in consideration, violating every consensus, ruining the political co-existence and hitting the representatives of the Democratic Party. The real Edi Rama is not who you saw on camera yesterday. That Edi Rama is fake and has lost his credibility with everyone”, Ristani concludes.
