For the first time in the history of the General Prosecution, the leader
of this institution and her replacement entered together the building
and greeted the troop of Prosecutors. It was done without a protocol,
since the law doesn’t provide anything for such cases.

While the former Prosecutor General, Ina Rama, entered the Prosecution with the performance that has characterized her in the last five years, but this time without files in her hands, the new Prosecutor General, Adriatik Llalla some of them in his hands.

“We’re in a situation that we must improvise a ceremony, since we don’t have a written protocol or a tradition. Together with Mr.Llalla we thought that we should implement this ceremony for the first time. It is a novelty the fact that the General Prosecutor’s duty is handed over this way. It is my pleasure to wish that I will keep hearing good opinions about the work of the General Prosecution. I believe that the Prosecution will continue this tradition with Mr.Llalla, together with the things that should be improved”, Ina Rama declared.

While the former Prosecutor General gave no special message besides the salutations, PG Adriatik Llalla emphasized that he will guarantee for all those employees who will implement the law.

“During my mandate, my priorities will be to motivate those Prosecutors that are facing war against organized crime and corruption, and by taking the right decisions, uninfluenced by any interests, including the political ones. I assure you that I will be the guarantee for the employees that will want to serve they duty as needed”, Llalla declared.

After the ceremony, the Prosecutor General held a meeting with the former Prosecutor General, Ina Rama. Llalla then accompanied Rama outside the building, where she wished him good luck with the duty.
