While inaugurating the construction of the new road that will connect
the canyons of Skrapar, the leader of the Socialist Movement for
Integration, Ilir Meta, commented the political debate of the day, the
immunity lifting.
The SMI leader declared that the important thing for this political force is the removal of immunity and not the paths that will make possible the realization of this action. He added that there is no enough time for a referendum and that a parliamentary solution is necessary.
He invited politics to not become an obstacle for the status only for their close interests.
The new road that will connect the Corovoda town with the canyons will cost 4 million EUR and is funded by the Albanian Development Fund. The construction is expected to boost tourism in the area.
