Imami: Dismantling process about to end

The Albanian Minister of Defence, Arben Imami, has valued as successful
the work in the sectors that have received harsh accusations recently by
the opposition.
During his speech in front of the working group for the dismantling of excessive ammunition, Imami declared that a small quantity of ammunition is yet to be dismantled. He thanked MEICO for the successful sales.
“The number that you give is 75.000 tons in three years, which is unimaginable. Certainly that an excellent work has been done by MEICO and the other structures for the sale of that excessive ammunition that we have had, based on the country’s best interest”, Imami declared.
Accused for the sale of the Army property, Imami declared that by the dismantling process have been benefited other 58 assets, which are preparing to get sold in full accordance with the law.
“We have demilitarized and cleaned 58 depots and tunnels”, Imami declared.
