“Illegal” session at the Supreme court

The Penal College of the Supreme Court organized a special session for
the “Ilir Meta” trial. This was due to the fact that the judges had
forgotten to make Meta’s experts take their oath before investigating
the video scandal.

The oath was taken only by Ardian Pollo and Ermal Beqiri, in front of the Prosecution and Defense. After two days, the College will meet again for hearing the oath of the next expert, Artur Rrahmani, who was absent due to health reasons.

The Prosecutor Bujar Nishani insisted again with his requests. He said to the Supreme Court that it is indispensable the usage of licensed and legal software by the experts, and that these software should be bought and installed from a licensed subject.

This was due to the fact that the usage of unlicensed software could create legal problems for their illegal users.

The Prosecutor also asked the Court to summon Dritan Prifti to testify, as the key witness of this case. But the requests of the General Prosecution were not accepted.
