Illegal constructions in Velipoje demolished

The National Urban Construction Inspectorate, in cooperation with the
Velipoje Commune and the Shkoder Police Department, organized an action
for demolishing illegal constructions.
40 objects, mainly bars and beach cabins in the first line of the tourist area by the seaside will be demolished by the Construction Police buldozers.
“This action was realized in cooperation with the Velipoja Commune, by order of the Council of the Commune. This is a tourist area of national importance, and no legal violation will be allowed. The National Urban Construction Inspectorate will support all local inspectorates for implementing all laws by taking measures against violators”, declared Engjell Dedja, inspector.
There were no incidents during the Construction Police action, which will continue for two days and which is the first for this year.
