No measure taken at the Bulqize mines has been able to reduce the danger
that threats each day the life of the dozens of children that turn into
miners keeping their families.

There are dozens of children in this poor town that right after school they rush among the mountain side to pick up the minerals.

Their life is endangered by possible avalanches, while the children carry heavy bags of minerals and send them to the illegal firms that buy them for a few bucks.

The price of chrome is 3 allkg, and one child transports each day 100-150 kg. Some children have abandoned school to collect chrome, as the only financial resource for their families.

Children and women turn into miners each day to collect heavy stones that they sell to illegal firms. They continue each day in a very dangerous and heavy work.
