Ilir Meta in Italy, his first visit to a foreign country as President of Albania

The Albanian President, Ilir Meta, started this Monday an official visit
to Italy, his first official visit in a foreign country as President.

Meta traveled to Rome by invitation of the Italian counterpart, Sergio Mattarella. In this meeting they will discuss important matters of bilateral strategic partnership.

The meeting will also focus on the relations between Albania and Italy, our country’s European path, fight against organized crime and international actual matters.
