Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The former Greek Consul in Korce, Theodhoros Kamarinos Oikonomou was
summoned for testifying in the investigation commission of the Foreign
Ministry of Greece.
The news was published by the “To Paron” newspaper, which explains that he will testify for four days in this commission, answering to long accusations that have been raised against him and that are related with the misusage of the consulate matters and the lack of documentation for giving visa.
The order for the appearing at the investigation commission was given by Ambassador Alexandra Papadhopulu, after two anonymous declarations against him, and the accusation of an Albanian driver of the Korce Consulate. The newspaper that belongs to the conservatory spectrum with pronounced ethnic tendencies, considers that the Greek diplomat was summoned six months after he returned to Greece, on demand of the Albanian institutions, due to his public declarations and convictions about the Vorio Epirus matter.
