Members of EULEX and the Kosovo police brought to court today Uke Rugova, the son of former President of Kosovo, Ibrahim Rugova.
He appeared at court together with nine other suspects. The Prosecutor requested detention of 30 days, while the session continued behind closed doors.
Uke Rugova was arrested this Wednesday after an operation of the EULEX police, who investigated a criminal group that gave visa at the Italian Embassy in Kosovo.
They are suspected of organized economic crime, abusing with their administration duties, and selling Schengen visas through the Italian embassy in Prishtina.
