The former Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Skender Hyseni, declard that the
technical dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia gave nothing good for
Kosovo.

During an interview for REL, Hyseni declared that the dialogue make Kosovo lose many efforts for new independence recognitions.

“The benefits are nothing compared to what has been conceded.  I fear that Kosovo will be obliged to return and the pair the damage that was made by these concessions”, Hyseni declared.

According to him, the reached agreements are positive or half-solutions, which usually bring bigger problems than the existing ones.

“This dialogue brings nothing good. The conclusions that have been reached are not international agreements and have no mechanism that guarantees the implementation”, Hyseni underlined.

By the end of December, Kosovo and Serbia started the implementation of the agreement reached between the two countries for the free movement, excluding Northern Kosovo.

But this agreement has been considered by the citizens of both countries as the most damaging for them, due to the cost and high taxes.

The agreement was also criticized by the opposition parties. Representatives from the Self-Determination Movement considered it as a submission.

“The agreement of the Government of Kosovo with Serbia is defining a special relation between the two countries. Although special, this is submission, not equality”, declared the head of the Parliamentary Group of Self-Determination Movement, Visar Ymeri.
