The law for hydropower plants privatization has divided the majority by
creating like never before not only harsh debates within their deputies
at the Economy Commission, but also doubts against each other.
At the Economy Commission, DP deputies raised doubts on the procedures followed by the Ministry of Economy on privatization.
After the debates, the Commission approved the law that opens way to the privatization process, which ebables not only the sale of hydropower plants as businesses, but also of their basins. Chances are that the dikes will be also privatized.
