
Kosovo Foreign Minister, Enver Hoxhaj, is expected to meet leaders of
countries that have not recognized the Kosovo independence yet.
According to Kosovo media, Hoxhaj will meet the Interior Ministers of Pakistan, Iraq and Yemen.
The Kosovo Foreign Minister will ask his homologues from these countries to recognize Kosovo’s independence as soon as possible.
During his visit in New York, Hoxhaj will also meet representatives from Latin America and Caribbean states.
Ivory Coast recognizes Kosovo
The Ivory Coast is the 84th state that has recognized the Republic of Kosovo.
The recognition from the Ivory Coast has been communicated by the Deputy Prime Minister Pacolli, who was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Enver Hoxhaj, the President of the Ivory Coast, Alassane Outtara, in a very friendly meeting in New York.
The official Prishtina is waiting for new recognitions, which seem that will come from African and Latin countries.
Earlier it was announced that Nigeria recognized the Independence of Kosovo, but this was put in question after debates that arouse between the leaders of this country. During the tour in Africa, Pacolli has been able to receive recognitions from Central Africa, Guinea Conakry, Benin, Niger and Gabon.
Egypt to recognize Kosovo soon
The Kosovo Foreign Minister, Enver Hoxhaj, declared that Egypt promised to recognize the independence soon.

As quoted by Kosovo media, Hoxhaj has taken the support of the Organization of the Arab League, 10 from 22 countries of which have already recognized Kosovo.
Hoxhaj met the General Secretary of this organization, Nabil Al Arabi, who has guaranteed that the recognition of the 12 remaining member countries will come very soon.
Hoxhaj has been guaranteed by the candidate for President of Egypt, Amr Moussa, right after the democratic elections in this country.
