House leasing impostor arrested

A 23-year-old from Kruja has deceived at least 16 people in Tirana. She
took 30.000 to 45.000 ALL for leasing houses that she didn’t own, and
then she disappeared.
This is the history of Suada kasa, who is being trialed in Tirana for more than one fraud. According to the Prosecutor, the young girl that lives in the suburbs of Tirana, used to rent houses near the Tirana center and then she announced on newspapers that she was leasing them.
When contacting the victims, the girl asked them an advance payment of 3-4 months, luring them with a lower rent price compared to the other houses of the area. 16 people, most of whom students, have understood that they had been defrauded by the girl after the real owners knocked on the door for the rent.
According to the Prosecutor they have reported the crime at the Police and after taking a description, the agents have been able to track her. The defendants declared that she didn’t remember how many people she had defrauded, and said that she had found that as the only way of resolving her economic problems.
