House arrest for Florenc Hoxha

The Court of Tirana gave the house arrest measure for the Chief of the
Tirana Municipality Urban Construction Inspectorate, Forenc Hoxha.
Hoxha was arrested this Thursday over power abuse charges.
The Prosecution demanded incarceration, arguing that he could manipulate the evidence needed for the investigations.
Hoxha was arrested by order of the Tirana Court, since only in the past three months, six criminal reports have been filed by citizens against him. He is accused of demolishing illegal buildings selectively.
The Director of the National Construction Inspectorate, Zyhdi Dajti, also appeared in court over power abuse. Judge Artan Laze had given an arrest order against him.
Dajti’s lawyer requested to change the security measure with obligatory appearance at court, which was accepted by the Court and Dajti was released.
