Hot weather dries up electric energy reserves

Lack of rains has recently lowered water flow in the Drin cascade at 48
cubic meters, 27% lower than the average for many of the past years, and
10% less that the minimum of July for the same period.

The water level in Fierza has dropped with five meters within one month, reaching 290.4 meters.

The Energy Regulation Entity say they are monitoring the situation to guarantee optimal management and supply consumers normally, while citizens are using even more.

The Energy Distribution Authority (OSHEE) imported 35% of the supply, but what concerns them most is that August is expected to be even drier than July.
