Xhevat Hana, the Prosecutor that died after a serious disease, was buried this Tuesday through honors.
Friends, relatives, politicians and institution leaders paid homage to the Prosecutor, at the Military Cultural Center.
The body of Hana was then accompanied to the Tufina cemetery.
Xhevat Hana passed away on January 5th, in Italy, after a serious disease.
The President and his colleagues considered his passing away a great loss for the country.
Hana was following the case of Remzi Hoxha, the businessman who disappeared in 1995, allegedly tortured and killed by the then chief of Secret Service, Ilir Kumbaro, who fled Britain after an arrest order released against him.
The family members of Remzi Hoxha, who are looking for the remains of their relative for the last 16 years, are surprised for the fact that so many people involved with their father’s case have disappeared.
“We lost a great person who was dedicated to his work, and we didn’t even know that he was sick. This is very sad and very strange at the same time. By now, five people who have been involved in our father’s case have died”, the family declared.
