The nationalist tones used by the new political parties in Albania
should be avoided, because they remind the past of Balkan, that,
according to the German Ambassador, Karola Muller Holtkemper, have
deteriorated the conflicts to the point of ethnic confrontations.
“The new political parties could take their values after seeing their impact on the electorate. I want to express my concern about the nationalist propaganda that they are transmitting. The harsh nationalistic tones should be avoided, because they remind the past of Balkan”, Holtkemper declared.
During a meeting in Korce, where she saw the progress of the Canalization Project and another project for the construction of an implant for processing polluted waters in Korce, the German diplomat also commented the work that has been made by the political parties for the Electoral Code.
The German ambassador repeated the stance of the state she represents for holding presidential elections in full accordance with the Albanian Consitution.
