The Municipality of Tirana appealed the merchants to not increase the
prices for food products, as it has always happened in this time of the
year, but to create a new relationship with the consumer, by lowering
prices as in every other country of the world.
This declaration came from the Tirana Municipality vice Mayor, Edmond Panariti, who has continued to inspect the stands of the food market, together with the Consumer Protection Agency.
The vice mayor of the Tirana Municipality declared that they will focus on the ambulatory merchants that sell fruits and vegetables at the Avni Rustemi square, in Tirana.
