The Faculty of Medicine at the Tirana’s University is the most sought after branch by students who graduated from high-schools with excellent results.
3000 candidates, 300 more than the last year, have applied for this university.
“Most of the students are registered for pharmacy and dentistry”, says the Rector of the Medicine University, Arben Gjata.
The winner ranked last in the list has an high-school grade average of 9.7.
Thanks to investments made between the government and the students, through the University Pact, medicine students will also have the chance to attend internships, different from years ago when their contact was immediately with the patient.
