The High Judicial Council ordered the opening of courts of all levels on Monday April 27th.

This decision comes after the deadline for the suspension of justice from March 10, was postponed to April 24. Along with the reopening of courts, the HJC orders the adoption of preventive rules against covid-19, such as the use of masks, gloves, distance maintenance and relevant signs display.

Along with these rules, the HJC approved the work regulation for justice system workers.

The closure of the courts provoked the reaction of lawyers who signed a petition demanding the compensation known as ‘war salary’, as it was one of the 17 free professions excluded from the support package.
