250 health workers from Kosovo have arrived in Kukës in northern Albania, to receive the anti-Covid vaccine, as according to an agreement between the governments.
They will receive the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine, at the Culture Centre “Hasan Prishtina” in the city of Kukes. 250 doctors and medical staff were expected to receive the anti-Covid dose today, while a total of 500 health employees from Kosovo will be vaccinated.
A doctor from Prishtina who took the dose spoke about her experience in the news edition on Top Channel. “The organization was very good. We are very grateful for this vaccine, considering we are on the front line of the battle. We are excited and happy that the Albanian state gave us this opportunity. I had no worries, 20 minutes have passed now and I feel very good”, she says.
Also present in the vaccination process is the head of the Infectious Diseases Department, Silva Bino. “It is going very well, we are organized and we will finish soon”, Bino stated.
