Health Ministry declared that the reform of the health system will be the next challenge for this institution during 2012.
In the annual analysis for 2011, the Health minister, Petrit Vasili, mentioned some of the successes of the private sector.
“During 2011, we were able to set up the new Emergency Hospital; implemented the development strategy for regional health care and increased the presence of foreign doctors for assisting their Albanian colleagues”, Vasili mentioned among other things.
Minister Vasili declared that the focus of every professional is the patient care and how to increase the service quality.
