The Ministry of Health informs that there were 5 losses of life and 123 new cases of Covid-19 as of Friday, 04.09.2020.
Out of 857 tests performed, 123 citizens affected by the SARS COV2 virus have been identified.
The geographical distribution of positive daily cases is as follows: 40 cases in Tirana, 11 cases in Durrës, Korça, 8 cases in Shkodra, Kavaja, 7 in Fier, 6 cases in Elbasan, Has, 5 in Berat, 4 cases in Pogradec, Saranda , 3 in Kukës, from 2 cases Lezha, Malësi e Madhe, from 1 case in Kruja, Lushnje, Vlora, Bulqiza, Shijak, Skrapar.
Unfortunately, in both COVID hospitals, a 56-year-old man from Cerrik, an 80-year-old man from Kurbin, an 82-year-old from Elbasan and 2 women from Tirana: a 68 and a 77-year-old, could not win the battle with the disease.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection addresses all citizens and businesses to be careful in implementing the rules of hygiene, distancing and mask wearing.
Masks are a necessity to be worn wherever the environment is closed, in hospitals, health centers, shops, supermarkets, hairdressers, taxis, workplaces, service offices, they state.
