Head of Secret Service, without Security Certification

The reporting of Visho Ajazi in Parliament turned into a ridiculous
situation, in the best case, or into a huge scandal for the Albanian
state, in the worst case scenario.

The Head of the Secret Service, the man who manages the secret information, doesn’t have the security certification for classified information. For this reason, three hours after the meeting of the Commission of Security had been announced, the Parliament Members decided to postpone it. The Parliament Members of the majority asked the Secret Service Member to equip the Secret Service with this certificate before reporting at the Commission.

“For the surprise of all, the Head of the Secret Service had no certification. The meeting was postponed for another day, after he gets it”, declared the Socialist Party Parliament Member, Taulant Balla.

The Head of the Commission, Spartak Braho, declared that the meeting will be held only when everyone will have a security certification. He admitted that some Parliament Members had been removed from this meeting for not having the security certification.

“The Parliament Members who didn’t have this certificate were removed from the room. The hearing session will be held when everyone will respect every rule of the law”, Braho declared.

The opposition declared that this is a shameful act, and that the majority didn’t want to hear the reporting of the Head of Secret Service.

“A ridiculous attempt to avoid the information that the Secret Service would bring”, declared the Democratic Party Parliament Member, Flamur Noka.

The security certification of the Head of Secret Service has expired, but Parliament Member Pirro Lutaj accused that Visho Ajazi doesn’t have the conditions to earn that certificate, and that in the first time he received it illegally.
