The stalemate created in the judiciary system with the argument that new judges cannot be appointed without going through the vetting process, for the President of the Judges Union, Erion Bani, is artificial.
Bani says that based on Verdict 34 of the Constitutional Court about the status of Judges says that the High Council of Judiciary has no obstacles to continue its normal procedures, until the establishment of the new institution that will replace it, based on the judiciary reform.
According to Bani, the same argument goes for the Constitutional Court as well, where Judges can be appointed to fill the vacancies.
