The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Edmond
Haxhinasto, is traveling to Vienna where he will participate in the
session of the Permanent Council of OSCE.
During this meeting, as Chairman of the Committee of Ministers at the Council of Europe, Haxhinasto will hold a speech for the participating delegations of the Permanent Council, presenting the priorities of the Albanian Presidency of the CoE.
Haxhinasto will also express his position over the matters for reinforcing the cooperation and partnership between the CoE and OSCE, and the help that these two organizations will offer for the neighbors and partners in the Mediterranean region, in order to face the current and long-term challenges of their democratic transition.
During his stay in Vienna, the Foreign Minister will meet the General Secretary of the OSCE, Lamberto Zannier. Haxhinasto will also hold a special meeting with the Austrian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Michael Spindelegger, with whom he will discuss the mutual agreements.
Haxhinasto will also be present at the concert organized by our Mission in the OSCe for the 100th year of Albania’s independence.
