Harvey storm, 20 Albanian families lost homes and cars in Houston

The Albanian Ambassador to the USA, Floreta Faber, informed that no Albanian
life was lost during the Harvey storm in Houston, Texas, but 20 Albanian families have lost
all of their belongings to the floods.
The Ambassador says she contacted with the leaders of the “Arberia Houston Organization”, who told her that the families have lost their homes, vehicles and belongings in the flood.
“The embassy will offer everything possible to the families”, Faber said.
The Kosovo Ambassador to the USA, Vlora Citaku, also said that she had communicated with some Albanian families, who fortunately are out of life threatening danger.
