Harasani, CEZ violates law

The Socialist MP, Andis Harasani, expressed his concern for the bad
management of the CEZ Company leaders, who, according to him, are
receiving exaggerated wages.

Harasani declared for Top Channel that CEZ is not respecting the agreement signed with the Albanian state, which foresees investments in energy.

“We are concerned, because 24% of the CEZ shares are held by the Albanian state. Our concern is related with the price increase request. We also haven’t seen any investment by CEZ, but only their wages getting bigger”, Harasani declared.

According to Harasani, the Czech Company is operating against all Albanian laws, and the leaders are increasing their personal financial gains drastically.

“CEZ doesn’t recognize the laws of the country where it operates and they don’t know even accountability. The best proof for this is their application with the Energy Regulation Entity. 375.000 EUR per month is the wage for their managers”, Harasani declared.

The former General Director of KESH appealed the respective Albanian institutions to implement the law how it should and not become pair with the Czech Company.

“I think that ERE should be impartial, should respect the law and not change the energy price. We must demand in the Parliament the implementation of the concession agreement, because CEZ today is a failing company. They have 65 million EUR of debts and are putting the energy sector into crisis”, Harasani declared.

Harasani made these accusations even earlier, at the Parliament Session, when he mentioned the high wages of the CEZ Company leaders.

The CEZ Company reacted by saying that the number mentioned by the Socialist MP have nothing to do with the reality.
