The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, declared that the transformation of the Kosovo Special Forces into a proper army will be done through constitutional amends, without taking duties away from KFOR.
Thaci gave these comments after meeting with the ambassadors who were accredited to Kosovo. He said that Kosovo is ready to turn into a contributor for security: “We respect KFOR ad the only thing that the Kosovo army would do is to make it easier for KFOR, and we turn into contributors of security. We must act one day. We cannot wait indefinitely”, Haradinaj said.
He didn’t say when the FSK transformation into an army would take place. He said, however, that this could happen in the future.
