The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, said that with the visa liberalization, Kosovo will not export asylum seekers, criminals or insecurity, but honest citizens who want to be equal among other European citizens.

Haradinaj made these comments during the High-Level Meeting for the Rule of Law, which gathers heads of Kosovo institutions, including international representatives.

Haradinaj underlined that his government has done a good job for stopping the number of asylum seekers. “From 67,000 in 2015, to 2800 in 2018”, Haradinaj said.

“But we must work harder and our citizens must know that their future stays in Kosovo, with Kosovo in the EU”, the Prime Minister added.
