Former Kosovo Liberation Army member, Shefqet Kabashi admitted the
accusation of disrespecting the judge panel by refusing to testify in
the first session against Ramush Haradinaj.
“I plead guilty”, said Kabashi after the judge Alfons Ori read the two accusations for intentionally refusing to answer to the Prosecution.
According to the court rules, Kabashi could be fined with 100.000 EUR or he could be sentenced to seven years in prison.
The retrial of former Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and two other accused, Idriz Balaj and Lahi Brahimaj started on August 18th. Kabashi refused to answer to the prosecution even in this session.
