Green tax to Gjirokaster increases to 600 ALL

The Gjirokaster citizens will pay 600 ALL each month for the green
spaces, which will be collected with the water bill, by the Aqueduct
directory.
The decision was taken a few days ago by the Municipal Council. The head of the Services in the Municipality, Dasho Sejdo, declared that the new tax for the Green Spaces will not add the green spaces, but will maintain the current ones.
Gjirokaster has 40 square meters of green spaces for citizen, according to the electoral campaign, statistics, while in the official ones, this surface is almost 10 times smaller, since many parks have been occupied by constructions.
Half of the green space is occupied by the Viroi Park, an area completely destroyed and forgotten. 2012 will collect 10% more taxes from the citizens for the cleaning and illumination of roads, services that are as problematic as the green spaces.
