Green spaces behind the Culture Palace

The space behind the Palace of Culture will turn into a small park for the Tirana citizens.
The Mayor of Tirana, Lulzim Basha, declared that the Tirana Urban Plan will respect all property rights of the owners, and the citizens will have more green spaces.
“Nothing will judge the rights of the former owners, in any corner of the city, including the Urban Plan, which will have in its core the respecting of the property rights. But we cannot stand back and watch how public spaces are degenerating each day. You remember that this has been a prohibited area for a long time, with a notorious pit. And the situation has not been better even after that pit was covered and the area was partly rehabilitated”, Basha declared.
We will plant in this space 150 trees and will place 66 park benches. There will be illumination and two water taps. The surrounding areas of the Bektashi Cult will be surrounded with railing, and the current parking in this space will be regulated.
The Tirana Municipality will interfere at the Medrese area, near Ali Demi and Don Bosko, where there are green spaces.
