“Man who raised Greek flag was killed by Albanian police”, said Ta Nea and To Ethnos newspapers.
The “Democracy” newspaper goes even further: “Immortal. Albanians killed him for raising the Greek flag”.
Several right-wing portals, such as Protothema, even called it “an execution”.
Other media have reported the version of the Albanian Special Forces as well, who had to return fire to the shooter who was putting their lives at risk.
This is despite the fact that the Greek Minister of Education, Myrsini Zorba, wrote yesterday on Twitter that the commemoration in Bularat was conducted very normally, and that there were Greek flags and Albanians officials during the ceremony.
