The Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos KOtzias, said that the decision of the Albanian government to fund a search, exhuming and reburying operation for the Greek soldiers fallen in Albania during the Italian-Greek war, is a very positive step.
Kotzias said that this decision is a follow-up of the one taken by the previous government.
The new decision also includes building the small church of Saint Athanas, which was destroyed last year in Himara.
“This is a big step for calming the spirits of the fallen, but it is also a step forward for building trust between our countries”, Kotzias said.
