While the Albanian Prime Minister has started this first day of work by
meeting high-rank officials of Brussels, the Prime Minister’s Office
removed the surrounding fence that was built after the attack of 14
September 1998.
15 years later Prime Minister Rama has used this element as a symbol for showing that the mission of his government is to remove barriers to the people.
Besides the symbol, the removed railings will make this building same as in every western country, so that the citizens can see it closely, as sign of transparence.
The internal offices will also change decoration. The government meeting room has changed with a map of Europe in the 16th centiry, a symbol that same as many centuries ago we belonged to the same old continent, the destination of this government is to bring Albania to Europe by realizing the reforms, a challenge that remains open for the Rama cabinet.
