The Government has decided to approve the request of the Municipality of Durres for financial support for waste management, on the basis of market research, in finding the best solution for the treatment of urban waste, according to the legislation in force.
In recent weeks, shorcomings in garbage collection in Durres have caused serious problems for citizens and tourists of the summer season.
According to the government’s formal decision, from 2022 onwards, a part of funding for waste management from the state budget, will be incorporated in the medium-term budget program document and the annual budget law.
