The Ministry of Finances declared that so far they have paid 40.5
billion ALL of delayed debts to businesses. The Ministry says that it
includes unpaid public works and VAT reimbursement, or other unpaid
bills of goods and services.

The government has planned to pay 72.6 billion ALL of obligations. The liquidation will continue for three years.

The debt for public works resulted smaller than expected

Last year, the Ministry of Finances paid 33.8 billion ALL of unpaid debts, from 35 billion that were planned. The biggest deviation from the plan was not the total sum, but the changes among the elements that were to be paid.

The government had planned to pay 15 billion ALL for infrastructure investments, but the total resulted only 9.8 billion.

The Ministry will now be able to pay 2014 and 2015 in one year. However, another element has resulted higher than expected. Other debts have resulted to be from 7 billion to 11.1 billion. These differences spurred strong debates in Parliament, since the opposition claims that this category of obligations leaves room for abuses.
