The Albanian Government is holding public consultations in parallel with the concessionary company.
The Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Artan Shkreli, told residents in these meetings that the Nation’s Road needs to be finished.
“240 to 260 million EUR are needed for the completion, because no one has made any update of what has happened during these years with the road’s quality. Of course some parts may have been degraded. The debt that we pay each year for this road is 40% of the circulation tax that is collected throughout Albania. It needs completion”, Shkreli declared.
