Tirana is reported to be experiencing good tourism days with visits from foreigners who are interested in getting to know the Albanian capital.
“We are from Scotland. We wanted to visit a new place and we came to Tirana. Every time we asked our friends about Tirana, they told us, oh, it’s a really beautiful place, so we came. We have a few days here and the weather is fantastic. Tirana is a mixture of older and modern buildings, quite interesting. We will recommend it to our acquaintances to visit,” says an interviewed tourist.
Among the many articles dedicated to our country by foreign media as a destination to be visited in 2024, one of the latest is that of “Travel of the Path” that qualifies Tirana as a place full of life and low cost.
“From the part of the services to the part of the quality of the food, the people, the guides and in fact, to the part of the prices, it is certainly a very good competitor with other European capitals. Undoubtedly, there are several price bands, starting from the backpackers who find their own space, to those who prefer things a little more qualitative and prefer to spend more”, says the city’s promotion director, Mirela Koçollari.
If before tourists came near the end of March, now the situation is different as since last year, we meet them every day on the streets of the capital. For this reason, another point will be added to the capital where foreigners will be able to get various information about the city.
After a year with 10.1 million tourists, this year Albania is expected to have an even greater flow of foreigners, who will choose to spend their holidays near Albanian cities or nature.
