Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future Friends, colleagues, relatives and former students of the soprano and
professor Nina Mula, who spent her entire life in the Albanian Opera
scene, gathered today to give her the last goodbye.
She passed away, but the roles that she performed will remain in the golden fund of the Albanian opera music. The soprano Edith Muhale, colleague of Mula, returned to remind Nina in all her dimensions.
“She has been a unique example of an energetic woman, the model of the dedicated artist. She has stayed near the new artists until her last day”, Mihali declared.
The former students came to honor the figure of an irreplaceable artist and professor.
“This is a great loss for the Albanian art, who was my teacher for 4 years, and who gave me the classical music culture”, declared singer Ledina Celo.
Many Albanian leaders were also present to give her the last good bye.
“She is an excellent figure of the Albanian art. The Mula family has given a big contribution to the culture of our country”, declared the President Bamir Topi.
“Today we are saying goodbye to the great artist Nina Mula, but not to the inspiration that she gave to an entire generation”, declared the Tirana Mayor, Lulzim Basha.
Nina Mula was born on 23 November 1931, in Izevski, Russia. She knew her Albanian husband in Moscow and came in Albania to become one of the greatest singers of the Albanian scene. She died at 80.
