Golem flooded by sewage waters

Many holiday makers have started leaving the Golem tourist, tired from promises for investments and basic communitary services.
The World Bank investment for building the sewage water network was not made functional this year. The project has been interrupted without realizing the secondary network of the canalization that allows the connection of several buildings in the main water discharge network and the processing implant in Shenavlash, Durres, which was inaugurated this spring.
The sewage water can be found everywhere in Golem, leaving a bad smell in the area where thousands of visitors are situated.
“Next year we will go to Vlore. We will return here after 20 years, maybe”, say the Kosovo and Macedonian visitors.
The residents who frequent this beach regularly feel disappointed by the broken premises and threatened by the high level of pollution.
Some Golem commune workers have tried to cover the road that goes between the service bars and buildings, where still the sewage waters are found. No structure, local or central executive agency, has ever intervened for punishing subjects that throw materials at sea.
“I come from Italy and the situation here is very polluted. I’m leaving”, another one says.
