Gjirokaster, ruined health center
04/11/2011 00:00
This health center serves to more than 3000 residents of the Dervican
village and thousands others from the surrounding villages.
The building that used to be an elementary school, today is completely amortized. The construction has no running water, no heating system and no equipments or basic infrastructure that could enable medical visits.
In this center are employed one doctor and three nurses, who perform most of their work in the private residences of their patients. This center is the biggest of the Lower Dropulli, that included 15 visits per day and answers to the needs of 50 patients.
