Gjirokaster, district not functional yet

The workers say that they haven’t been paid in the last three months, since the District Prefect has not been recognized. The vice Chairman, Panajot Lula, says that the Court has decided to start working normally, and for this reason they appeal the Prefect to resolve the situation.

We want to remind the prefect that she doesn’t represent only a political force, but also an institution that should be taken as public responsability.

This situation is absurd and the institutions cannot function by political orders. Only an oral order of the Prefect, according to Lula, has gone above the court decision and is paralyzing the service to the citizens.
