The Socialist Party campaign for adding their members stopped in the
town of Gjirokaster, where 350 young men joined the Socialist Party.
Erjon Veliaj, the Youth and Emigration Secretary at the Socialist Party, started his opening speech by praising the model that journalist Ardian Klosi left behind.
“A man that was never compromised; a man that never sold his ideals and principles; a man that never became an analyst of the government and who never gave up from his ideas for a better Albania; his name was Ardian Klosi and I would like to keep one minute of silence on his honor”, Veliaj declared.
Referring to the model that Klosi offered, Veliaj declared that everyone must ask themselves of what we can do for our country.
“In his last interview given to Mustafa Nano, Ardian Klosi was asked about what the fatherland was for him. His answer was: ‘my fatherland is my neighborhood, the streets I walk in, my neighbors and those who share my city.’ What will we do for our fatherland? This is the question to which everyone must answer”, Veliaj declared.
