Deutsche Welle is one of the media outlets that followed the visit of the Albanian Prime Minister in Berlin very closely, reporting the comments and declarations of this meeting.
Other German media as well have mentioned the stance of Germany regarding Albania.
Edelheid Feilcke, Director for Europe at the Deutsche Welle, founder of the Albanian language section and a good connoisseur of our language, says in a live interview for Top Channel that Albanians must lobby for many European parties, since there are many European politicians who follow closely what is happening in Albania.
“I am optimistic that those who support the opening of the accession negotiations are still a majority in the German parliament. There are other parties as well and they never get automatically together. I think that it is important for Albanian politicians to lobby with different European parties. Many European politicians are watching very closely if Albania is respecting its promises. This is a chance that must not be lost. The EU path is very long”, Feilcke says.
